Woke up and a man was standing over me with a whip
And everybody wonder why I sing the blues”

“Why I sing the Blues”
Well the New Year has found this guy quite the busy beaver. Starting off with redoing some punch list work the contractors missed in constructing my father’s home. No doubt could have got it done via the warranty, but who wants to go through the hassle and it probably wouldn’t have been done for a month. Work is such that I’ll be done in two days. Yesterday I rewired the electrics in the bath in the master bedroom and today I am installing an additional water heater in same. It seems that it is taking an inordinate amount of time for the water to get hot in the far end of the house. Hence the additional heater. Been mulling over the location but I think I have located a spot that will not derogate the house ascetics and will not utilize needed space for other reasons. Wish me luck folks.
Oh also got a dwelling for Riley the Fierce. Although she is a Husky (cold weather pup), she still needed a spot of her own to hang her hat. She’ll have a place to go during inclement weather during the day when out on her line. Bought her a prefab house from one of the local retailers and my sister is going to sew her and sleeping bag containing red cedar chips. The chips will decrease the presence of fleas. Now all that’s left is to get Riley acquainted to her new digs, the cold is no problem but cold and rainy days are a bitch. Don’t have time now to instruct her but something just tells me she’ll figure it out herself if the right weather hits. Which brings to mind the weather conditions this morning. Got up at 4am this morning to finish a project for my part time consulting job and checked the weather—26* with a high of 48* today. For this now acclimated guy to coastal Georgia weather, that is pretty chilly. Think I’ll wait until the 48 comes around to do the work at my father’s.
Well its 7:49 now and I guess I’d better get back to my part time gig. So y’all take care and I’ll holler atcha later.
