Just a small town boy that wants to share his musings on everyday life.

Why Am I keeping this journal?

To tell you the truth I am not positive myself. Guess I could have kept a private journal, but I am retired you see and I guess it makes me feel that I am going to work.
Another probable reason is that the older I get I reminence on days gone by and realize that there were some positives. Heck there maybe people out there that would like to know them.

Bhutto cause of death Three shots then blast

People just a slight deviation from what this blog is usually about. Got to tell you developments occurring in the Middle East really has me concerned. One reason is this turmoil in Pakistan and what it can eventually mean to the international community. Secondly, if the turmoil really ferments and boil over, what will it mean in so far as American participatory efforts to stabilize the country. Pakistan as you well know is a member of the nuclear arms family and so is the adjoining country of India. Now India and Paskistan has traditionally played that antagonist/protagonist game with each other for centuries. Can't help but wonder what safeguards they are taking or has taken to ensure that their stockpiles are safed during this period. It goes without saying the Indians are casting an anxious eye at the going ons in Pakistan. Just hope that they can show some restraint during this crisis. I say this crisis as though there is a predetermined end to the domestic unrest in Pakistan, but lets face no one really knows what will be the final outcome. With the political mess that situation is in its anyone's call. With a military presence already in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait, will we at some time in the near future intervene to try and assist stablity to exist in Pakistan? I hope not there has been enough attempts at assisting stability in the entire area. With our track record of making bad situations worse, the holders of the nuclear arms may just ask themselves----for what? Oh yeah yall been reviewing some earlier blogs--whew, its evident that I quite often suffer senior moments.-Thanks for bearing with me.
